Session duration varies based on tattoo size, complexity, and placement. Generally, smaller tattoos take about 1-2 hours, while larger or more intricate designs may require multiple sessions spanning several hours each. Your artist will provide a more accurate estimate during your consultation.
The level of pain experienced during a tattoo varies based on individual tolerance, location of the tattoo, and the artist's technique. Generally, tattoos are uncomfortable but manageable for most people. Less sensitive areas like the outer arm tend to be less painful, while areas with more nerve endings like the ribs or spine may be more intense. Your artist can offer tips to help minimize discomfort during the process.
Our minimum fee is £70 which covers the setting up of a tattoo workstation.
A deposit is necessary to confirm your appointment, as no bookings are finalized without it being paid in full. Your artist will determine the deposit amount, which will be deducted from the total cost on the day of the appointment. Please note that deposits are non-refundable. If you need to reschedule, we ask for at least 72 hours notice to accommodate the change. Rescheduling is permitted once without requiring a new deposit, thereafter, a new deposit will be necessary.
Comfortable clothing: It's best to avoid wearing anything you'd be upset about staining. Comfort is key during the session. Feel free to bring your own blankets and pillows if you need them.
Our studio is open plan, but we totally get that not everyone digs that vibe. So, to cater to your comfort, we can offer privacy screens during your tattoo session.
Feel free to share your own design ideas and reference images with us. These will serve as inspiration and help convey the theme you're aiming for. Just so you know, we're all about originality here, so we won't be copying another artist's design.
Our artists don't start sketching until your booking is locked in with a deposit. Usually, we'll have the designs ready a day or so before your appointment. And hey, you'll have plenty of time on the day of your appointment to tweak things if needed.
We get it, getting a new tattoo can be pretty nerve-wracking for some, and having a buddy or family member there for backup is a big help. But here's the scoop: Our studio isn't huge - you might say intimate - so we don't have much space for others and ask only the person coming for their appointment remains in the studio, unless they're a legal guardian(applicable to those under 16 getting a permitted piercing).
During quiet times we may allow 1 person to remain with the person in the studio at our discretion.
We've got you covered! When it comes to old tattoos, we can work some magic with a cover-up. Our skilled artists can chat with you about your ideas, assess the existing tattoo, and come up with a fresh design to transform it into something you'll love.
Totally! But we suggest waiting at least four weeks after getting inked before you jet off on holiday. This gives your tattoo some time to heal up nicely. And once it's healed, make sure to slap on some high-factor sun protection to keep that ink looking fresh and vibrant. Safe travels!
For safety and comfort reasons, we do not allow children under the age of 10 in the studio at any time. We appreciate your understanding in helping us create a safe and relaxing atmosphere for everyone.
Children 10-16 are only allowed in if they are booked in for a piercing appointment with a legal guardian. You can find our policy age policy here
A complimentary touch-up is typically offered between 8-12 weeks after your final session, provided the tattoo is fully healed. It is your responsibility to schedule this within the specified time frame to be eligible. However, certain areas such as fingers, palms, hands, feet, or other locations mentioned in advance do not qualify for a free touch-up and will incur a cost, which the artist will discuss beforehand.
Please note that touch-ups resulting from failure or negligence to follow our aftercare procedures are not free and will be charged at the same rate as a new tattoo. Additionally, any changes to the original agreed-upon design are not considered touch-ups and will be treated as a new tattoo, incurring the corresponding charges.
