Piercing Policy
Age-Based Piercing Requirements:
14-15 years: Ear lobes, nostrils, cartilage, and navel piercings only. A parent/legal guardian must be present and provide written consent.
16-17 years: Tongue, eyebrow, and lip piercings allowed. A parent/legal guardian must be present and provide written consent.
18+ years: All listed piercings permitted.
Jewellery Requirements:
Only shop-provided jewellery is used. Jewellery must be manufactured in the UK, EU, or USA and made of approved materials: surgical steel (316L), 14k/18k gold, platinum, niobium, titanium, or surgical plastic.
Identification Requirements:
Under 25: Clients under 25 must present physical ID. Photocopies or photos of ID are not acceptable.
Under 16: A parent must present photo ID with the same surname or provide additional ID that verifies the relationship (e.g., birth certificate). Legal guardians must bring photo ID and proof of guardianship.
Please note the following:
Clients must sign an informed consent form detailing risks and aftercare.
Piercings are not performed if:
- Pregnant or breastfeeding.
- Blood-thinning medication has been taken within 24 hours.
- Alcohol or recreational drugs have been consumed within 24 hours.
- Health-related conditions may require a doctor’s note before proceeding.
This policy ensures that any potential health risks are addressed to protect both you and our practitioners. Your safety is our priority, and obtaining medical clearance helps us provide the highest standard of care
